Get a show on WGDR/WGDH

Have you always wanted to try a radio show, but never taken the leap? Now is the perfect time to jump in with us at Central Vermont Community Radio.

We are a fun crew of nearly 60 members of the community, bringing our thoughts, talents, and time to weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly shows here on WGDR and WGDH. We want you to join us!

We are specifically looking for more voices from our community to expand our representation of all who live in our area. This includes more BIPOC folks, women, trans and non-binary folks, queer folks, and people under 50 years old.

We are looking for show ideas that can speak to the experience of living in this part of Vermont - its rural nature, changing demographics, and the matters of our day. We are eager to entice more talk shows on the air - these can be interview style, call-in shows, and other ideas. Now, more than ever, our listeners want to hear alternative views, and respectful discourse, and to learn more about those who live in our communities.

No radio experience is needed. We are currently prioritizing shows that can be done live in the WGDR studio in Plainfield.

Get more information at WGDR.org and put your application in today!

If you have questions, connect with our station manager, Llu Mulvaney-Stanak at Llu@WGDR.org

We can’t wait to hear your show ideas!
